To minimise resource consumption, we source consumables and assembly materials locally whenever possible, keeping delivery routes short thanks to our global network of locations. After each lease, containers are cleaned using environmentally friendly methods, refurbished, and reassigned to new projects.

ELA container modules are designed with energy conservation in mind. The floors, walls, and ceilings feature large-format, durable sandwich panels with a layered structure that significantly reduces energy consumption. Integrated insulation protects against moisture, cold, and heat – ensuring a consistently comfortable indoor climate throughout the year.

Double-glazed windows with laminated safety glass provide effective protection from heat and noise, while energy-saving LED lighting ensures bright, efficient illumination across all spaces.

Sustainably Healthy: Safe Materials for Wellbeing

At ELA Container, we believe that the right materials make all the difference in creating spaces where people feel comfortable and safe. That’s why we use only formaldehyde-free, certified-safe construction materials – and ensure they’re sustainably sourced.

For example, we rely exclusively on FSC-certified wood profiles. Large windows allow for natural ventilation and flood the space with daylight, helping to create a healthy and pleasant indoor environment.

Environmentally Friendly Land Use

ELA Container’s modular design offers a space-efficient solution that minimises impact on nature and agriculture. As land consumption continues to rise, our approach shows how temporary space can be created without permanent disruption to the environment.

Even on a small footprint, ELA containers can be stacked up to four high, maximising usable space. Once no longer needed, the modules are dismantled without leaving a trace, allowing the land to be fully restored to its original condition – supporting flexible, sustainable development.
