Mainova AG is a leading energy provider based in Frankfurt am Main, supplying energy to domestic and business customers across Germany. As part of its long-term workforce development strategy, Mainova invests in training and developing the next generation of skilled professionals.
The company’s existing training centre in Frankfurt is undergoing extensive refurbishment and expansion to ensure it continues to provide high-quality facilities for training, skills development and professional growth. During the construction works, however, it was essential to maintain day-to-day operations and minimise disruption for trainees and employees.
To meet this requirement, ELA Container supplied a comprehensive modular building solution, providing temporary changing and welfare facilities for up to 600 people throughout the refurbishment programme.
The facility comprises 69 modular units and provides approximately 1,200 m² of floor space. It consists of 34 changing room units, 15 corridor units, 14 toilet units and six open stairwell units, connected to form an integrated, functional facility. The two-year hire period aligns with the planned duration of the refurbishment works at the training centre.
This project demonstrates how modular buildings can help businesses maintain essential operations during major refurbishment and infrastructure projects. By providing a purpose-designed temporary facility, ELA enabled Mainova to accommodate its workforce comfortably while refurbishment works at the training centre continued.
“We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Mainova AG again. We translated the customer’s requirements into a tailored modular solution, providing employees with ample space and comfortable changing facilities while allowing the refurbishment works at the training centre to continue without disruption,” explains Jonas Brück, Area Sales Manager at ELA Container.
