For reasons of maintenance, safety and environmental protection, many industrial facilities must undergo regular technical inspections. These inspection phases are carefully planned to minimise downtime and maximise operational availability. This includes infrastructure services such as the punctual and reliable provision of so-called inspection container villages.

In a recent example, an industrial customer leased such a container village, comprising 84 container units, from ELA for around two months. During this period, 450 engineers from specialist service providers worked with the facility operator's various departments to modernise the industrial plant. All work was coordinated from within a 1,440 m², two-storey room solution from ELA. It contained offices, common rooms, changing rooms, a canteen, break rooms, meeting rooms and sanitary facilities. A large entrance hall with an internal stairwell provided a convenient and safe connection between the rooms.

In this case, the customer ordered all the equipment, including tables, chairs, filing cabinets, desks, office chairs and lockers. ELA also provided state-of-the-art safety equipment.

ELA Area Sales Manager Christiane Basler managed the project and remained in close contact with the customer. Peter Schönfeld, representing the customer's Site Construction Technology Department, acted as the project's main contact.

Since 1996, we have often used ELA container solutions for our inspection work. During this most recent project, we were once again very satisfied with the consultation, planning, quotation, delivery, assembly, handover and finish of the ELA containers.
